Our rates include package receiving and processing at our U.S. facility, international shipping to Mongolia, customs clearance, and final delivery to your home or office in Mongolia.

Shipping Rates

International Shipping: USD 12 per kg

Fixed Handling Fee: USD 11.30 per parcel

How Shipping Cost Is Calculated

Total Shipping Cost = (Chargeable Weight x USD 12) + USD 11.30

Chargeable weight is based on the greater of:

Actual weight, or
Volumetric weight

Volumetric Weight Formula

Length x Width x Height / 6000

Dimensions must be in centimeters.

Insurance

Insurance is optional and charged as follows:

USD 1.50 per USD 100 of FOB value
Maximum standard coverage: USD 300

Shipping Cost Example

A customer orders a parcel with the following details:

Dimensions: 30 x 30 x 50 cm
Value: USD 200
Actual weight: 2 kg

Step 1 - Calculate volumetric weight

30 x 30 x 50 / 6000 = 7.5 kg

Step 2 - Compare actual and volumetric weight

  • Actual weight: 2 kg
  • Volumetric weight: 7.5 kg

The chargeable weight is 7.5 kg (the greater of the two).

Step 3 - Calculate shipping Cost

7.5 x USD 12 = USD 90.00
Fixed handling fee = USD 11.30

Shipping total: USD 101.30

Step 4 - Calculate insurance(Optional)

  • FOB(declared) value: USD 200
  • Insurance: USD 1.50 x 2 = USD 3.00

Total Cost

USD 101.30 + USD 3.00 = USD 104.30

Taxes and Duties

Shipments valued at USD 800 or less

No taxes or duties are payable by the customer.

Shipments valued at more than USD 800

A formal quotation is required. This quotation may include:

  • Applicable taxes and duties
  • Customs broker fees (if applicable)
  • Additional customs-related charges

Taxes and duties are calculated based on the HS code and product category.
